FACT: Talkback from the headphones of the crew on the studio floor is clearly audible at times during Episode 4, including cues for Cybermen.

A Matter of Time: Arc of Infinity

DESCRIPTION: ‘Arc of Infinity’ was the first story of Season 20 of Doctor Who, and starred Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor.

FACT: The Producer John Nathan-Turner appears on screen in Part Four trying to persuade a passer by not to get into shot in Amsterdam.

A Matter of Time: Michael Robbins

DESCRIPTION: Michael Robbins played the character of Richard Mace in the Fifth Doctor story ‘The Visitation’.

FACT: Robbins is amongst the many Doctor Who actors and actresses who have appeared in the classic series ‘The Avengers’.

A Matter of Time: The Ice Warriors

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Ice Warriors’ was the third story of Season 5 of Doctor Who, and starred Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor.

FACT: A real live bear was used in specially shot film inserts for this story, as opposed to the usual method of using stock footage.

A Matter of Time: Nicola Bryant

DESCRIPTION: Nicola Bryant played the companion Perpugilliam (Peri) Brown from ‘Planet of Fire’ to ‘Mindwarp’ in Doctor Who.

FACT: John Nathan-Turner intended for Bryant to increase the sex appeal of the show by having her appear in revealing outfits, her first costume being a bikini.

The Sarah Jane Adventures: Series 4 Trailer 2

The BBC have released a second teaser trailer for Series 4 of ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’, which will be shown on BBC One and CBBC in early October. The first story of the series has the title of ‘The Nightmare Man’, and will be broadcast on Monday 11th October 2010.

This trailer focuses on the enemies appearing in this series, which will include the Androvax, Shansheeth, Dark Hoard and a Groske, which is a twist on the similarly named Graske.

A Matter of Time: Galaxy 4

DESCRIPTION: ‘Galaxy 4’ was the first story of Season 3 of Doctor Who, and starred William Hartnell as the First Doctor.

FACT: The stock music used in this story was performed by an experimental group called ‘Les Structures Sonorés’, who performed on glass tubes.

A Matter of Time: Ron Grainer

DESCRIPTION: Ron Grainer was an Australian composer who wrote the iconic theme tune for Doctor Who, which Delia Derbyshire went on to perform.

FACT: He has been credited in every Doctor Who episode in the original and new series, with the exception of the television movie.
