Doctor Who - The Night After Hallowe'en Part 3

The official Doctor Who website has released the third part of ‘The Night After Hallowe'en’, an exclusive short story written by Mark B. Oliver. The story was released in sections over the course of the week, with the exciting finale on 5th November 2010.

“Without warning and seemingly from nowhere, a Guy Fawkes stepped immediately in front of the Doctor. It was all he could do to stop himself from colliding with the dummy. Its cold, blank eyes seemed to be looking at the Doctor as if recognizing him. In that instant, Millie ran behind the Guy, crouched down and Louie pushed the effigy in the stomach with all his strength. It toppled over Millie and fell to the ground on its back, its arms and legs flailing. The trio were running once more.”

Doctor Who - Whispers in the Attic Room

This story is best viewed in complete darkness and across the full screen.

‘Whispers in the Attic Room’ is an exclusive story created by Blink to celebrate Halloween, and will hopefully add plenty of thrills and scares to your evening. The short film is just under 3 minutes long, and is shown through the point of view of a camcorder. Unfortunately the picture quality varies, although it does add to the retro feel of the story.

Happy Halloween from Blink

Today marks the event of Halloween, a day of thrills and scares, witches and ghosts, and plenty of Doctor Who. To get into the spooky Halloween spirit, you may wish to help Sarah Jane find the last missing monster on this blog, where you will be awarded a special treat.

The exclusive 3-minute film ‘Whispers in the Attic Room’ is currently uploading to YouTube, and should be available to view from approximately 6:00pm tonight. The story is shown through the point of view of a camcorder, which is being operated by Amy Pond, whilst the Doctor investigates the haunted Widow’s Hall.

Happy Halloween!

Doctor Who - Whispers in the Attic Room

A few weeks ago it was announced on this blog that Blink would be making an exclusive Doctor Who story entitled ‘Whispers in the Attic Room’ for Halloween.

The original plan was for the story to be presented as a script, however it will now be shown as a short film, so the scary moments really will make you jump!

The story is shown through the point of view of a camcorder, similar to the style of the ‘Paranormal Activity’ films, and sees the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond investigate a mysterious force at Widow’s Hall.

‘Whispers in the Attic Room’ will be available on this blog on 31st October 2010 from 6:00pm

Exclusive Doctor Who Halloween Story

Today marks three weeks before the release of ‘Whispers in the Attic Room’, a short Doctor Who horror story exclusively written by Blink, which will be available on this blog in two parts over the Halloween weekend.

This tale of a mysterious house named Widow’s Hall will feature the first incarnation of the Doctor, as he battles his worse nightmares when left alone in the unquiet house, which lies in the centre of an eerie forest. Although this story does not include a traditional Doctor Who monster, there will be plenty of thrills and scares to challenge the Doctor’s strongest beliefs, and sure to send shivers down your spine!

‘Whispers in the Attic Room’ will be released in two parts, with the first on 30th October 2010 and the second on 31st October 2010.

Autumn Projects Coming Soon to Blink

With the start of a new season, and the Summer special projects of ‘Patient Pluto’ and ‘Blast from the Past’ complete, the attention now turns to the Autumn projects, which will be released over the upcoming months. Prepare yourself for plenty of thrills and scares, and always expect the unexpected!

In October there will be an exclusive two-part story over the Halloween weekend, entitled ‘Whispers in the Attic Room’, which features the Doctor trying to solve the mystery of Widow’s Hall, and the nightmare that lights within. The short horror story will see Doctor Who go in a new and intriguing direction, and is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine…

The second planned Autumn project is in December, and will take the shape of a fun and engaging advent calendar, similar to that seen on the Official Doctor Who site every Christmas. This project will include all the latest photos and news about the 2010 Christmas Special, as well as plenty of games and videos created by Blink to enhance the festive spirit…
