The entry forms for the ‘Blast from the Past’ special project have now been checked, and the list of stories to be reviewed is available below. Thank you to everyone who entered their chosen stories of the latest Doctors. ‘Blast from the Past’ will begin in January 2011 with the review of the 1996 TV Movie.

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Waters of Mars’ was the second story of the 2009 Doctor Who Specials, and starred David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.

FACT: This story was initially written as a Christmas special entitled ‘Red Christmas’, with several festive references remaining in the finished episode.

The Specials Soundtrack: The Waters of Mars

The music soundtrack company Silva Screen have released the track listings for ‘The Waters of Mars’ which will be included in the upcoming ‘Doctor Who – The Specials’ CD release. All of the music was written by the Doctor Who composer Murray Gold.
