The Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith was interviewed behind the scenes at a Doctor Who Live performance, where he discussed his work on the Christmas Special and sixth series of the show. The interview ended with Smith summing up the Christmas Special in three words, and complimenting Steven Moffat on his excellent ideas.

Unfortunately the sound quality varies in this video, but is still enjoyable to watch.

Doctor Who Composer Murray Gold Interview

The Doctor Who composer Murray Gold appeared on yesterday’s edition of BBC Breakfast, where he discussed his music for the show and the upcoming Doctor Who Live tour. Gold also reveals that he wrote the Eleventh Doctor’s theme before ever seeing Matt Smith perform, as well as confirming that he will be writing music for the Christmas Special and Series 6.

Doctor Who Live - First Glasgow Performance Cancelled

The Doctor Who Live team have announced that the first Glasgow performance, scheduled to be shown on 14th October 2010, has been cancelled for logistical reasons.

This is extremely surprising considering the amount of publicity surrounding the event.

All ticket holders for this performance should contact the box office immediately, where they can either receive refunds or seats at an alternative performance.

Doctor Who Live Launches New Twitter Page

The team behind the upcoming ‘Doctor Who Live’ event have now launched an official Twitter account, which provides news and updates on the live show, due to begin touring the UK in the next few months.

The Tweets on the new account reveal some small details about what people can expect from the tour, including: “Special scenes with Matt Smith have now been filmed and edited. Great to see the Doctor in action again!” and “The web of time could be shattered. The entire universe is in danger!”
