Jimmy Vee Returns to Doctor Who Series 6

The Evening Times has revealed that the actor Jimmy Vee is returning to Doctor Who for a story that is being filmed this year, although details of who or what he’s playing are being kept top secret. Jimmy has played many roles on the show and has already acted alongside the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Doctors. He is probably best known for the role of Bannakaffalatta in ‘Voyage of the Damned’ and the recurring Graske and Groske monsters.

“The 3ft 8in Glasgow performer has appeared in half a dozen episodes of the cult sci-fi show, and even joined the Australian pop icon in the Christmas special three years ago. He also played a goblin in the first Harry Potter film and is regularly called on for parts in kid’s Doctor Who spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures.”

Doctor Who Matt Smith Reveals Favourite Stars

The Eleventh Doctor actor Matt Smith has recently revealed that he would enjoy Florence Welch accompanying him on his adventures in the TARDIS. When asked by journalists who he would like to act alongside in the show, Smith answered “Florence from Florence and the Machine - I'd quite like her to do one.”

He also stated “I'd quite like Eric Cantona to come and do one. That would be cool,” as well as mentioning Vincent Cassel, Hayley Atwell, Helena Bonham Carter and Rowan Atkinson as other stars he would like to appear in the show.
