DESCRIPTION: ‘Terror of the Autons’ was the first story of Season 8 of Doctor Who, and starred Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor.

FACT: Although Bill McGuirk is credited as a Policeman, he does not actually appear in the story as his scenes were cut before broadcast.

A Matter of Time: The Androids of Tara

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Androids of Tara’ was the fourth story of Season 16 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: Mary Tamm appears as four roles in this story, as she plays Romana, Princess Strella and their two android doubles.

A Matter of Time: Delta and the Bannermen

DESCRIPTION: ‘Delta and the Bannermen’ was the third story of Season 24 of Doctor Who, and starred Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor.

FACT: In the long shots of the Doctor riding the motorbike Sylvester McCoy is wearing his glasses, but in the close up shots he is not wearing them.

A Matter of Time: Galaxy 4

DESCRIPTION: ‘Galaxy 4’ was the first story of Season 3 of Doctor Who, and starred William Hartnell as the First Doctor.

FACT: This story was nearly saved by negotiations for it to be screened at a convention, however this fell through and the story was lost.

A Matter of Time: The Tomb of the Cybermen

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Tomb of the Cybermen’ was the first story of Season 5 of Doctor Who, and starred Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor.

FACT: The Cybermen walk backwards when retreating into their tombs, as the film of them escaping the tombs was reversed for this shot.
