(02/01/1971)DESCRIPTION: ‘Terror of the Autons’ was the first story of Season 8 of Doctor Who, and starred Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor.
FACT: Although Bill McGuirk is credited as a Policeman, he does not actually appear in the story as his scenes were cut before broadcast.

This was my first Pertwee story. The Autons in this are far scarier than the ones from "Rose."
I agree that they are a lot scarier in this story, especially when the policeman driving the Doctor and Jo turns out to be an auton! That bits creepy! :D
