FACT: The giant Robot’s legs keep vanishing due to reflections in the studio affecting the Colour Separation Overlay effect.

A Matter of Time: The Daleks’ Master Plan

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Daleks’ Master Plan’ was the fourth story of Season 3 of Doctor Who, and starred William Hartnell as the First Doctor.

FACT: At the beginning of Episode Eight, the grams operator accidentally plays the TARDIS background hum instead of the Daleks’ control room sounds.

A Matter of Time: The Stones of Blood

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Stones of Blood’ was the third story of Season 16 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: Baker was seen by onlookers to be doing the Times Crossword puzzle with K9, as the voice artist John Leeson was talking to him via a radio to the location.

A Matter of Time: Planet of Evil

DESCRIPTION: ‘Planet of Evil’ was the second story of Season 13 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: The story was inspired by the movie ‘Forbidden Planet’ and Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel ‘The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’.

A Matter of Time: Paul Seed

DESCRIPTION: Paul Seed played the character of Graff Vynda-K in the Tom Baker story ‘The Ribos Operation’.

FACT: During the filming of this story, his dog bit Tom Baker on the lip, leaving a scar that was visible for the rest of the season.

A Matter of Time: Tom Watson

DESCRIPTION: Tom Watson played the character of Ramo, a priest of Atlantis, in the Patrick Troughton story ‘The Underwater Menace’.

FACT: His character in the story hated Professor Zaroff, and as a result helped the Doctor oppose his plans.
