FACT: This story was originally set in New Orleans, and the food-obsessed Androgums were created with the city’s cooking reputation in mind.

A Matter of Time: Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang

DESCRIPTION: ‘Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang’ was the first story in the second series of Torchwood, and starred John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness.

FACT: John Hart lists ‘Excalibur’ as a team name possibility, which was the original name devised by Russell T Davies before ‘Torchwood’.

A Matter of Time: Nicholas Courtney

DESCRIPTION: Nicholas Courtney played Colonel and then Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart during the classic series, and was a regular character in Jon Pertwee’s era.

FACT: Courtney’s first appearance in Doctor Who was in the First Doctor story ‘The Daleks' Master Plan’, where he played Bret Vyon.

A Matter of Time: Time Crash

DESCRIPTION: ‘Time Crash’ was an exclusive story for Children in Need, and starred David Tennant and Peter Davison as the Tenth and Fifth Doctors.

FACT: Incidental music from the Fifth Doctor’s era is used as part of the background music, as well as the traditional cloister bell sound effect.

A Matter of Time: The Hand of Fear

DESCRIPTION: ‘The Hand of Fear’ was the second story of Season 14 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: This was Elisabeth Sladen’s final story as a member of the regular cast on Doctor Who, making her the longest serving companion in the number of seasons.

A Matter of Time: Janet Ellis

DESCRIPTION: Janet Ellis played the character of Teka in the rather unpopular Tom Baker story ‘The Horns of Nimon’.

FACT: She is best known as a Blue Peter presenter from 1983–1987, where she conducted the introductory interviews with Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy.

A Matter of Time: John Challis

DESCRIPTION: John Challis played the villainous character of Scorby in the popular Tom Baker story ‘The Seeds of Doom’.

FACT: He is probably best known for his role as Aubrey Boyce in the long running comedy show ‘Only Fools and Horses’.
