FACT: According to ‘Doctor Who: Companions’, the final episode of the story was to have included a cameo appearance by Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright.

A Matter of Time: Invasion of the Dinosaurs

DESCRIPTION: ‘Invasion of the Dinosaurs’ was the second story of Season 11 of Doctor Who, and starred Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor.

FACT: There are several inaccuracies concerning the dinosaurs, including the T Rex only having two fingers rather than three.

A Matter of Time: Sarah Sutton

DESCRIPTION: Sarah Sutton played the character of Nyssa between ‘The Keeper of Traken’ and ‘Terminus’.

FACT: Although she left full-time acting after her time as Nyssa, Sutton has reprised the role in several of the Big Finish audio Doctor Who stories.

A Matter of Time: Image of the Fendahl

DESCRIPTION: ‘Image of the Fendahl’ was the third story of Season 15 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: K9 appears only briefly in this story as the script had been written before it was known that K9 would be joining the series on a regular basis.

A Matter of Time: Dan Abnett

DESCRIPTION: Dan Abnett has written Doctor Who and Torchwood novels, short stories, comic strip stories, and audio stories.

FACT: He has also contributed to the charity anthology ‘Drabble Who’, short stories with a Doctor Who theme to raise money for various causes.

A Matter of Time: Ronald Leigh-Hunt

DESCRIPTION: Ronald Leigh-Hunt played Commander Julian Radnor in ‘The Seeds of Death’ and Commander Stevenson in ‘Revenge of the Cybermen’.

FACT: He also appeared very briefly in a clip from the latter story shown during the famous flashback sequence in ‘Earthshock’.

A Matter of Time: John Nathan-Turner

DESCRIPTION: John Nathan-Turner began by working on the production team of Doctor Who, and later became the ninth and final producer for the classic series.

FACT: He made himself instantly recognisable at conventions with his combination of a beard, long hair and a Hawaiian shirt.
