The Pandorica Answers: Douglas Adams

The first script by Douglas Adams to appear in Doctor Who was ‘The Pirate Planet’ in Season 16. Adams wrote under the pseudonym of David Agnew for the Season 17 story ‘City of Death’, and became world-famous during this time for ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’.

DESCRIPTION: ‘City of Death’ was the second story of Season 17 of Doctor Who, and starred Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor.

FACT: The story is set in Paris, and was the first Doctor Who adventure to feature footage filmed on location in a foreign country.
