The official Doctor Who website has revealed some more information about what we can expect from Children in Need on Friday 19th November, as well as giving the option to download an exclusive wallpaper of the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond with Pudsey.
The BBC website reported: “Just after 8pm, we're invited to join Matt Smith and Karen Gillan for some fun and games in the TARDIS when they're paid a visit by some very special guests. And as if that isn't enough, they might even have an exciting preview of A Christmas Carol to show us, so don't miss it!”
Children in Need Wallpapers
The first Doctor Who story to be shown as part of Children in Need was the twentieth anniversary story ‘The Five Doctors’, and the charity story which saw a crossover with Eastenders was ‘Dimensions in Time’.
This year’s edition of Children in Need will be broadcast tonight from 7:00 pm on BBC One, and will feature an exclusive clip from ‘A Christmas Carol’, the Christmas special to be shown in December.
