FACT: It was decided that the lights on the Silurian heads should flash as they were speaking, otherwise there was no way of knowing which Silurian was talking.

A Matter of Time: Noel Clarke

DESCRIPTION: Noel Clarke first played the character of Mickey Smith in 2005, and last appeared briefly in ‘The End of Time’.

FACT: Clarke wrote the Torchwood episode ‘Combat’, making him the first recurring Doctor Who actor to write a script for an official episode of the franchise.

A Matter of Time: The Deadly Assassin

FACT: This is the first story to feature the Doctor without a companion, and features an entirely male cast except for a female computer voice.

FACT: One of the clowns shown on Sarah Jane’s laptop is Clara the Clown, who appeared in ‘The Celestial Toymaker’.

A Matter of Time: Battlefield

FACT: The tank in which Ace was trapped cracked during filming, risking Sophie Aldred’s life as she cut her hands and water poured across the set with live wires.
