The Doctor Who production team have begun filming on Neil Gaiman's story for Series 6. The episode is the second of the series to be filmed under Block 1, and is directed by Richard Clark. Neil Gaiman commented:“I am in Cardiff today and tomorrow. Doctor Who Confidential are going to interview me and I'm now going to (steal the TARDIS and explore the whole of space and time fighting evil wherever I encounter it) potter about the set for a bit and not look at all suspicious.”
