The Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith has revealed that he wants to fight the Cybermen in the next series of Doctor Who, having only come face to face with them in cameo appearances in ‘The Pandorica Opens’.Matt Smith said: “Who would I like to face from the old series? Well I've not really properly faced a Cyberman yet. But I want it to be an old school Cyberman like the ones in ‘Tomb of the Cybermen’.”
Karen Gillan has also said that she is keen to take on the silver-suited monsters, even though she battled an injured one in the last series. Gillan said: “I've faced one - a one-armed one. But I would like to face them again.”
