The Eleventh Doctor's Description Competition

The winner of the SFX competition to write a description of the Eleventh Doctor has been announced, after Doctor Who writer Terrance Dicks came to a decision about the top three descriptions.

The winner of the competition was Ian Hewett, who described the Doctor as: “A slim mismatched jigsaw of a man, paintbrush hair atop a young face with ancient eyes, an enigma wrapped in a bow tie.”

SciFiFX came second with: “A gangly young man, all elbows and appetite, with eyes far older than the rest of him.”

Sammorgan 11 came third with: “He looked like an alien crammed into the body of a human who had been crammed into the clothes of a maths teacher.”
