FACT: The character Phipps was a maintenance crewmember of the T-Mat Moonbase, who warned the Earth about the Ice Warriors’ invasion.

FACT: This is the first collaboration between writer Robert Holmes and script editor Terrance Dicks, who would work together in the Third and Fourth Doctors’ eras.

FACT: William Hartnell does not appear in ‘The End of Tomorrow’ due to an injury, although his stand-in Edmund Warwick does.

FACT: Toby was a criminal hired by Arthur Terrall to kidnap Jamie McCrimmon, but he was exterminated by a Dalek.
