Forty years ago today, the Silurians appeared in their first ever adventure, starring Jon Pertwee as the Doctor. Two years later, another species known as the Sea Devils appeared in Doctor Who, and were said to be relatives of the Silurians.
The two species teamed up to fight Peter Davison’s Doctor in 1984, and are said to be appearing alongside Matt Smith in Series 5, due to be shown in Spring.

the silurains are confirmed and if bob's facts are true the sea devils are confirmed.
